Vacation 12X12 Winnie the Pooh

I have been scoring Pinterest to find ideas to boost my Vacation scrap booking and found one that I knew would be quick and easy and it was.

I plan to enter this Layout in the Lasting Memories Layout Challenges, LM #277 challenge-anything goes, as part of their challenge was to show new beginings and this will be part of the Begining of our Vacation Album before the ride we went on which I will do a pocket style scrap book layout.

CLICK HERE to see the original idea.

I am using a thin layer of Tombow Mono Multi glue to adhere my 1/4 inch pattern paper to the 12X12 pattern paper.

There are four strips and will frame the edges of the 12X12 pattern paper.
Wax paper is a must, I am using some thickers to spell out my title.
Using some tape runner adhesive to adhere the hexagons, not being to perfect but trying to stay even.
Finished Layout

Close up, I trimmed my photo to 4X5.

Close up, no journaling because their will be other journaling in the scrapbook (this is going to be a scrapbook of our week vacation in California).
Lilly Bee Designs, where I got my grab bag/box, they are closing so I don’t know how long they will be selling them click here http://www.lilybeedesign.com/
The 1/4 inch and 12X12 pattern papers came from the grab bag/box.

SSS Wednesday Challenge OMBRE

I found my inspiration by searching on google using the words blue ombre ink colors for Stampin UP and it gave me some pictures and other mumbo jumbo and from the picture I found a website with a snowflake blocked pattern card with blue ombre, CLICK HERE to see the card.

To join the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge CLICK HERE.

I am using this stamp set from Stampendous called Happy Messages.

They says happy birthday, hi, hello, hey, friend, thank you, thinking of you, missing you, my friend and two of them repeat in different fonts.
I am using Stampin UP ink in the colors Pool Party, Marina Mist, Island Indigo, Soft Sky, and Night of Navy.
I am using a nice long block because this is a long sentiment.

I am using my grid mat and the lines on my stamping block to make sure my stamp is straight.
I decided to keep the ombre theme and add their matching card stock as well.
